Advisory and Working Groups allow stakeholders and the public to get involved with NYMTC in specific areas of interest.

As an advisory group to the Council, the Metropolitan Mobility Network (MMN) focuses on information sharing and fostering the development, enhancement and maintenance of integrated multi-modal management and operation strategies at the regional level – both building on and contributing to the metropolitan transportation planning process. Activities

The Group works closely with federal partners on efforts such as Active Transportation Demand Management – a proactive approach to managing and controlling roadway capacity and travel demand using real-time and predictive operational strategies.
