Nassau/Suffolk Transportation Coordinating Committee

The Nassau/Suffolk Transportation Coordinating Committee (N/STCC) is comprised of transportation and environmental agencies and elected representatives for Nassau and Suffolk counties.

To respond to local needs, NYMTC is comprised of three TCCs which recommend sub-regional transportation priorities and provide opportunities for more local participation.

The N/STCC includes four voting members and four non-voting members.

The Voting Members are:

• Suffolk County Executive
• Nassau County Executive
• Metropolitan Transportation Authority Chair/CEO
• New York State Department of Transportation Region 10, Regional Director

Non-Voting Members:

• Federal Highway Administration
• Federal Transit Administration
• New York State Department of Environmental Conservation
• US Environmental Protection Agency

Joint TCC Operating Procedures

On October 9, 2014, N/STCC members voted to adopt revised Joint TCC Operating Procedures; these procedures were also adopted by NYCTCC and MHSTCC.

Executive Committee

The TCC holds an annual Executive Committee Meeting to affirm a new Chairperson and undertake necessary business actions.
